QuotaGuard Alternative: Dedicated IPs From $29
QuotaGuard offers static outbound and inbound IPs in 10 AWS regions, including Mumbai and Singapore, and its dedicated IP pair starts on the $219/mo Enterprise plan. Fixedmark is planned as a QuotaGuard alternative with a dedicated pair at $29/mo and TLS passthrough on every plan. Fixedmark is in early access; QuotaGuard is available today.

Dedicated IPs without the Enterprise tier
Per QuotaGuard's pricing page, Starter, Production, and Business plans use a shared IP pair. A dedicated pair plus dedicated proxy resources comes with Enterprise at $219/mo. Fixedmark plans a dedicated pair on the $29 Pro plan, with 500,000 requests and 200 GB.
Dedicated IPs matter for more than reputation. When a bank, a broker under SEBI's API rules, or a partner's security team asks who else can send traffic from your registered IPs, "only us" is the easy answer.
Static, Shield, and TLS passthrough
QuotaGuard Static already tunnels outbound HTTPS without decrypting it. It terminates TLS only for inbound traffic. Shield adds SSL passthrough in both directions and a BAA path for healthcare customers, at a higher price per tier. Fixedmark is outbound only at launch, never decrypts, and wraps the proxy endpoint in TLS so your proxy credentials do not cross the network in cleartext.
If you need a signed BAA, choose Shield. Fixedmark does not offer one.
Tunnels and startup dependencies
QuotaGuard's QGTunnel wraps your process and opens local ports to remote databases. Its setup guide explains that it fetches configuration from QuotaGuard's API by default, and that a local .qgtunnel file removes that dependency. Its transparent mode overrides DNS so code can keep the original hostname. The planned bm tunnel CLI only reads local config and maps explicit ports, for example bm tunnel 5432:db.example.com:5432. See the QGTunnel comparison for more.
India and Asia
Both products can egress from India and Singapore. QuotaGuard added Singapore and Mumbai in 2025 and now runs in 10 AWS regions. Fixedmark plans Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, and Singapore at launch.
The difference for Indian teams is the price of exclusivity. A broker registering your IP under SEBI's retail algo rules, or a bank onboarding you for payouts, usually wants an address only you use. On QuotaGuard that is the $219/mo Enterprise plan. Fixedmark plans it at $29/mo on Pro, and at INR prices for retail traders. See regions for every launch region.
When to choose QuotaGuard instead
QuotaGuard is the better pick today if any of these apply:
- You need a static IP in production now. Fixedmark is in early access.
- You need an inbound static IP today. QuotaGuard includes inbound on every plan; Fixedmark has it on the roadmap.
- You handle health data and need a BAA. QuotaGuard Shield offers one with a HIPAA administration add-on.
- You want to pay with committed AWS spend through the AWS Marketplace listing, or bill through Heroku as an add-on.
- You want a provider with a long track record. QuotaGuard says it has gone 12 years without forced IP changes.
When Fixedmark fits better
Fixedmark is planned for teams that need:
- A dedicated IP pair at $29/mo instead of $219/mo.
- A dedicated Mumbai pair priced for a single broker or bank allowlist, not an enterprise budget.
- Per-connection logs and destination allowlists that limit what a leaked token can reach.
- HTTP, SOCKS5, and a tunnel CLI in one plan, on Vercel, Railway, Supabase, Render, or Fly.io.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a dedicated IP cost on QuotaGuard?
Per QuotaGuard's pricing page, the dedicated IP pair comes with the Static Enterprise plan at $219/mo for 1,000,000 requests and 1 TB, or Shield Enterprise at $269/mo. Fixedmark's planned Pro plan includes a dedicated pair at $29/mo.
What is the difference between QuotaGuard Static and Shield?
Static tunnels outbound HTTPS without decrypting it but terminates TLS on inbound traffic. Shield never decrypts in either direction and offers a BAA path for healthcare customers. Shield costs $10 to $50 more per tier.
Does Fixedmark support inbound static IPs like QuotaGuard?
Not at launch. Inbound static IP with TCP and SNI passthrough is on the Fixedmark roadmap. If you need inbound today, QuotaGuard includes it on every plan.
Can I migrate from QuotaGuard without downtime?
Yes, if you overlap. Add your Fixedmark IP pair to every destination allowlist first, switch the proxy URL environment variable, confirm traffic in the connection log, then remove the QuotaGuard IPs.
Make it fixed.
Fixedmark is in early access. Join the list to get dedicated static IPs when your region opens.
